Students who will be four years old on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible to enroll in four-year-old kindergarten.
In the Elkhorn Area School District, we partner with three local daycares and preschools to offer our community four-year-old kindergarten or 4K. Options Virtual Charter School also offers a 4K program! 4K is a play-based program designed to nurture social, emotional, and early academic skills. 4K in Elkhorn is a half-day program running five days a week.

Students living outside of the Elkhorn Area School District should complete an application for Open Enrollment in addition to the EASD 4K New Student Enrollment application.
