EASD Board of Education Seats Available (2)

Voters will see three (3) names on the ballot when they head to the polls on April 1, 2025. They are Bridget Leahy Vaughn, Devin Gatton, and Ed Scaro. The highest two vote-getters will be elected to the school board to serve a three-year term.

Any qualified elector wishing to be a candidate and have their name listed on the official ballot for one of the two (2) Elkhorn Area School District Board of Education positions in April, 2024 must submit a Campaign Registration Statement and Declaration of Candidacy to the District Office no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. *The Declaration of Candidacy requires notarization.

The Elkhorn Area School District's district office has regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., although it will be open until the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, for accepting candidacy documents. Please note: The District Office will have limited office hours during the holiday break.

December 27, 2024 • 5 pm – Deadline for incumbents to file Notification of Non-Candidacy

February 18, 2025 – Spring Primary (if necessary)
